The Pequecircuito 2016 was premiered in Guadalmina, Islantilla and Alborán

The Pequecircuito de Andalucía has released its 2016 season this weekend with the celebration of its first test, and has done so with great success of participation. In total, more than 250 children under 11 years have met in the par 3 courses of Islantilla Golf, Alborán Golf and Real Club de Golf Guadalmina that, as always, have done their best for the little ones to enjoy a wonderful day of golf. The players played 9 holes under stroke play scratch mode.

Starting with the test in Islantilla, in which fifty players have taken the start, the player of the Real Club de Golf de Sevilla, Ana Quintanilla, and the federated by Isla Canela, Ignacio Alonso Morgado, have won among children under 11 years, with results of 42 and 34 strokes. Among the participants of 9 and 10 years, the winners were Violet Martin and Rota Golf Club player, Elias Alvarez, after signing 47 and 37 strokes each. On the other hand, Marina Ruiz (La Monacilla) and Gonzalo Portilla (La Cartuja) were the best among the youngest -players 8 years old and younger- with 54 and 40 strokes.

Meanwhile, in Alborán Golf, another 50 players disputed the test. Begoña Perez (Playa Serena) and Juan Angel Mercado (Club de Golf Ciudad de Linares), have occupied the top positions among the players of fry category, with 44 and 35 strokes. Meanwhile, players of La Envia, Marta Carbajo and Andres Marin, have shone in the classifications benjamín 9-10 years, with 36 strokes each. Among the under 8 years, Natalia Ramirez (Granada Club de Golf) and Javier Mercado (Ciudad de Linares), have delivered 58 and 41 strokes, respectively, which have earned them the first places.

Finally, the Real Club de Golf Guadalmina has welcomed about 140 children today. Among the players of fry category (11 years), the player of Parador de Málaga, Alejandro Gómez, has signed an excellent result of 31 strokes to lead the male classification, while Paula Oncala (La Cañada), has occupied the first place in the female, with 38. Among the participants of 9 and 10 years, the local player Casilda Bayon and the player of Antequera Golf, José Mª Sánchez, have been imposed with 36 and 32 strokes. Finally, among the youngest, Alvaro Oncala (La Cañada) and the also local player Valeria Ramirez, with 36 and 45 strokes, have shone.

The awards ceremony in Islantilla, has been attended by its director, Tino Cordero and the member of the Children’s Committee of the Royal Andalusian Golf Federation, Miguel Miguez; in Alboran Golf have been present its director, Francisco Venegas, and Fernando Pacheco, President of the Children’s Committee of the RFGA; Finally, at Real Club de Golf Guadalmina, in addition to its director, Ignacio del Cuvillo, Marc Mueller, the club’s Children’s delegate, and Patricia Jiménez, member of the RFGA Children’s Committee, were present.
