Calcavecchia sells Florida mansion for US$5.5 million

The legendary Marc Calcavecchia currently spends most of his time on the Champions Tour, the U.S. Senior Tour, but the 1989 British Open winner is also busy with another, less sporting endeavor: trying to sell a mansion he owns in Tequesta, Florida, for $5.5 million.

The villa is in Mediterranean style, has an area of about 700 square meters and has four bedrooms and seven bathrooms in the main house, to which is also added a guest house.

The interior of the mansion has high quality finishes, wood and marble floors and high ceilings, according to the announcement of the real estate agency in charge of its sale.

The house also has a study, living-dining room, and sitting room. For entertainment, there is an indoor bowling alley with professional lanes, a swimming pool and an outdoor kitchen with barbecue.

Calcavecchia, 55, has 13 professional victories and $24 million in earnings in his nearly 30 years on the PGA Tour, the American Tour.
