Last weekend was a great day of golf at Chaparral Golf Club, where the official closing of the qualifying round of the prestigious San Miguel Andalucía Golf Challenge – Costa del Sol, destination Dominican Republic by Globalia was held.
With a full field and 100 players starting simultaneously at 9:00 a.m., the atmosphere was unbeatable and an intense competition was experienced on the technical and always challenging course of Chaparral.


Next Date: Final at San Roque Golf & Resort

After this qualifying round, all eyes are now on the grand finale of the circuit, to be held on September 20 at the exclusive San Roque Golf & Resort. The day will be completed with the closing dinner at the Occidental Puerto Banús hotel, where the final prizes will be awarded and will put the finishing touch to this edition of the circuit.

Scratch Winner

  • Andrew Howart, with 38 scratch points, achieved an outstanding victory that gives him direct qualification to the Final on September 20, in addition to enjoying the exclusive closing dinner of the circuit at Occidental Puerto Banús.

  • Francisco Barranquero Osorio – 42 points(qualified directly for the Final).
  • Álvaro Medina Prieto – 41 points(12 points for the Costa del Sol Ranking).
