The tournament at Zarapicos once again brought together the fans of the Andalucía Golf Challenge in a superb day, played at the Zarapicos course, one of the two layouts of the Salamanca Golf & Country Club. The circuit thus returned to Salamanca with a new event of the SAN MIGUEL XVI Andalucía Golf Challenge Costa del Sol destino República Dominicana by Globalia circuit, which once again sold out all its places.
Zarapicos, host of the Andalucía Golf Challenge in Salamanca
The tournament at Zarapicos was played under the Individual Stableford format, with a shotgun start at 9:00 and an excellent turnout of 70 players. The organisation was once again up to the standard of a circuit that combines competition and a great atmosphere at each of its events.
The club’s president, Juan María López Álvarez, personally welcomed the Andalucía Golf team, offered the club’s support for future editions of the circuit and gave an interview that will be published soon. The general manager, Moisés Blanco, kept an eye on every detail of a flawless day.
A natural layout in the heart of the dehesa
The Zarapicos course is a magnificent and very natural layout, set in an impressive dehesa where there will always be a holm oak to avoid in order to attack firm, elevated and fast greens that delight the most demanding players. A visit to Salamanca, one of the most beautiful and interesting cities in Spain, is rounded off with a round at this fantastic course, complemented by its more urban sibling closer to the city: a highly recommended getaway to enjoy the tournament at Zarapicos.
