Every day there is a pleasant surprise in the sport of golf. This time it was a 5-year-old boy who was able to make a hole-in-one. The precocious golfer, Jaden Soong, from Los Angeles, California, has already won multiple awards and one of the keys to his prodigious game is his magnificent swing.
Soong holed straight off the tee during a US Kid Tour Los Angeles summer league tournament and he did it on a par 4 no less! The setting was the 5th hole of Rio Hondo Golf Course, a 393-meter par 4 from white. Of course, the tees for this children’s tournament are much further forward, which does not detract from Jaden’s prodigious shot. The exact distance from which he hit it was 210 yards, or 192 meters.
The professional Adam Scott liked the child’s game so much that he posted a video on his website showing the little boy’s prodigious swing, images that have already been seen by more than 50,000 Internet users.
