A fox chases a golfer around the course after stealing a holster from him

A couple of years ago, a fox that was busy stealing the balls on a golf course before the players got to where they had sent them came to the forefront of the news. Now it’s another fox in the spotlight, this time for taking a player’s club cover that was lying on the grass while the golfer was hitting.

Noticing the theft, the player goes after the animal, which drops the holster. After retrieving it, the golfer throws it back to the ground, and the fox, which apparently has no fear of humans, approaches again and takes it away. The man chases the small mammal again and recovers the holster. But the film does not end there, as the fox returns to the charge and with not very good intentions, as it begins to chase the player across the field, even when he runs away from the animal.

The story, conveniently filmed on a cell phone by one of the beleaguered golfer’s playing partners, did not escalate and comes days after it emerged that a large kangaroo chased golfers while they were playing their favorite sport on an Australian course and forced them to scramble into a buggy to get away from the angry marsupial.

Until now, the usual precaution was to be cautious with alligators and crocodiles that live around many golf courses in Florida, but, in view of what we have seen, we will have to be careful with all kinds of animals that are increasingly fond not of golf but of golfers.
