
The golf courses of the Costa del Sol, the first golf tourist destination on the continent, have launched numerous offers to practice this sport at reduced prices during the summer season. Considerable discounts on green fees, special weekly, bi-weekly or monthly subscriptions, individual courses or courses for the whole family… practically all the courses on the Costa del Golf, which includes the coast of Malaga and the Cadiz area of Sotogrande, have offers for this summer.
There is something for all budgets, as the variety of Costa del Sol courses is very extensive and ranges from cozy pitch and putts to internationally renowned clubs such as Valderrama, Finca Cortesin, Aloha, Las Brisas or Flamingos, all of them venues of some of the most important tournaments in the world, including the Ryder Cup, the World Match Play Championships, the World Cup and several competitions of the European Tour.

Finca Cortesín, another course in Costa del Sol that has hosted three editions of the World Match Play Championship, is offering a twilight green fee for this summer, starting at two o’clock in the afternoon, for 139 euros, including buggy.
Marbella Golf has launched, valid until September 14, an offer of two green fees with buggy for 140 euros, and a twilight green fee (from 16:00 hours) with buggy for 60 euros. It also offers more discounted prices with many Spanish clubs with which it has correspondence agreements. It also markets weekly (210 euros), bi-weekly (300) and monthly (400 for individuals, 740 for couples) memberships with unlimited golf and buggy use between June and August. In addition, its golf academy has organized golf and tennis camps or just golf for children.
At Santa Clara Golf, Marbella, they have the following summer offers: two green fees plus buggy for 124 euros, and twilight (green fee plus buggy from 15:00 hours) for 56 euros. This club also has a correspondence agreement with clubs in the community of Madrid with a green fee of 41 euros for 18 holes, and 26 euros for 9 holes.
Atalaya Golf & Country Club, in the municipality of Estepona, a club with two 18-hole courses, markets season tickets for different durations. They are available for the whole summer (June, July, August and September) for 880 euros, for one month (220 euros in June, 390 in July, 440 in August and 250 in September) and for two weeks (145 in June, 215 in July and 250 in August). On the other hand, it has a twilight green fee offer for 34 euros, and another offer of two green fees plus shared buggy for 85 euros (New Course). There are also special prices for members of the Andalusian Golf Federation: children under 12 will pay only 10 euros per round, and adults, 43.
Los Naranjos Golf, located in the Golf Valley of Marbella and designed by Robert Trent Jones, Los Naranjos Golf markets this summer an offer for two players with buggy included for 130 euros. For members of clubs belonging to the Spanish Golf Federation, the price for two players with buggy is reduced to 118 euros.
Baviera Golf, located east of the capital of Malaga, in the municipality of Velez-Malaga, has the following summer offers, valid until September 30: two players 18 holes with buggy for 100 euros (68 if you play 9 holes); a month of unlimited golf for 500 euros for one person and 900 for two; 18 holes plus trolley for 55 euros (9 holes, 35) and 18 holes plus buggy for 67 euros (9 holes, 49).
On the other hand, the club maintains a correspondence agreement from which members of more than thirty golf courses throughout Spain can benefit at reduced prices.
In July, the Baviera golf school also offers fortnightly courses for children and young people from 5 to 18 years of age. They include golf lessons and other recreational and sporting activities, are held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. from Monday to Friday and cost 110 euros.
Marbella Club Golf Resort, owned by the same group that owns the famous hotels Marbella Club and Puente Romano, has this summer a green fee offer with buggy included for 75 euros. El Higueral Golf, also of the Marbella Club Group, offers a full tee time (four people) to play 18 holes for a price of 90 euros. In both cases, the prices are valid until the end of August.
Benalmádena Golf, a pitch and putt course located in the municipality from which it takes its name, offers summer camps between July 15 and August 30 for children from 5 to 14 years old. They run from Monday to Friday from 9.30 am to 1.30 pm, include workshops, breakfast, golf lessons and games of skill, and cost 90 euros or 75 students and PDM. This club also has offers of two green fees for the price of one, and discounts of 25% on both adult courses and individual classes. Another possibility offered is an express golf course of one hour and a half plus green fee and snack at a price of 15 euros per child and 29.95 euros per adult.
