Diego Morito, reelected president of the APG of Andalusia

Diego Morito has been re-elected president of the Association of Professional Golfers of Andalusia (APGA), which recently held its annual general meeting. The APGA is a non-profit professional association that operates throughout Andalusia and has among its main objectives to represent, promote and develop the economic, social and professional interests of its members, golf professionals, ensure the quality of their teachings, technical improvements and career opportunities, promote, encourage collaboration and maintain relationships with federations, clubs, associations and professionals in any field (public or private, national and international), which could improve the interests of golf professionals in Andalusia associated, among other attributions.

At the general meeting, the accounts for 2012 and 2013 were approved, the management and administration of the Board of Directors, whose presidency is renewed in the professional Diego Morito Gil, (thus endorsing the management initiated in April last year), and the budgets for this year, with a calendar of tournaments and courses to be held and that will be available on the website of the association http://www.apg-andalucia.com .

Minutes before the General Assembly, an Extraordinary Assembly was held to announce and approve the incorporation of the APGA in the Professional Golf Association of Spain (PGA Spain). This new development, approved unanimously, means a great advantage for all members in terms of holding tournaments and for the homologation of the professional title at European level.

Both meetings were held in the multimedia and multipurpose room of the Melior Vasari Business Center, where the APGA now has its headquarters. The Melior Vasari Business Center is located at the entrance of the luxurious urbanization La Alzambra, a few meters from the N-340 and the access to El Corte Ingles in Puerto Banus, and the main and best courses of the famous Golf Valley of Marbella. The Center offers services and offices on a European schedule, with an extensive list of international clients, most of them golf enthusiasts.
