Troon, a leading firm in the management, development and marketing of high-level golf courses, begins working with another renowned Spanish client this week. Marbella’s Aloha Golf, three-time host of the Open de Andalucía, a European Tour tournament, will become the first Troon Privé club on the European continent.
The Costa del Sol club joins the Centurion Club in London as the only other Privé golf club on the continent. The club located in Marbella’s Golf Valley joins the elite Troon Privé brand to enhance the experience for members and guests.
Aloha Golf Club is well known by the fans thanks to the television broadcasts of the Open de Andalucía. In the 2012 edition Julien Quesne became the 400th winner on the European Tour at Aloha. In 2007 the former world number one Lee Westwood won at the Marbella course, and the following year the victory at the same venue went to Thomas Levet.
