
The team formed by the players of Baviera Golf, Maria Carmen Robles, Rosa Maria Ruiz, Jennifer Toottle and Carol Perez, has won the second round of Zone B of the Andalusian Women’s Circuit, which was held at the Guadalhorce Golf Club (Malaga) and in which 19 teams took part, who played 18 holes in Stableford Individual Handicap mode.
The team thus repeats the victory it achieved on March 14 during the first round, which was held at Santa Clara Golf Granada.
The winners finished today with an accumulated 107 points, five points ahead of the team formed by the players of Real Club de Golf Guadalmina, Joyce Hester, Aurora Hidalgo, Maria José Hidalgo and Macarena Benítez, who came in second place.
The third place, equal in points with the second team, went to the team integrated by Ana Mª Vila, Mª Paz Estrada, Maya Bellod and Mª Rosa Hafner.
The awards ceremony was attended by María Murillo, Member of the Women’s Committee of the Royal Andalusian Golf Federation; Miguel Navarro, Secretary General and Manager of the Royal Andalusian Golf Federation; and Ignacio Iturbe, Provincial Delegate of the Royal Andalusian Golf Federation in Malaga and Assistant to the President.
The Andalusian Women’s Tour is divided into two zones. Throughout the season, three 18-hole rounds will be played in each of them, scoring in each the sum of the three best rounds. The final will be played over 36 holes in Stroke Play Individual Handicap at Río Real on June 10 and 11.
