Cestino, Andalusian International Champion over 35 years old

For the third consecutive year, Jacobo Cestino has won the International Championship of Andalusia over 35 years, which ended today at the Real Club de Golf Sotogrande.

The Malaga has added in this second day a round of 78 strokes to the 75 he signed yesterday during the first day, for a total of 153 (+9).

The second position, three strokes behind the champion, was for the player from La Cañada Francisco Sánchez, author of the best round of the day with 75 strokes. The third classified was the player from Guadalmina, Alberto Fresno, with a total of 159 strokes.

Behind him, with 163, finished Stephan Brunsteiner, who was only one stroke ahead of the fifth classified, Antonio Domínguez (Montenmedio Golf & Country Club).

The awards ceremony was attended by Luis Mansilla, President of the Men’s and Junior Committee of the Royal Andalusian Golf Federation; Agustin Mazarrasa, Director of the Real Club de Golf Sotogrande and Alberto Bueno, Chief Referee of the tournament.

The test has been played in two consecutive days, each of 18 holes per day under the Stroke Play Scratch mode, and was held at the facilities of the Real Club de Golf Sotogrande, as in the past two editions.
