
Santa Clara Golf Granada and theChaparral Golf Club of Costa del Sol have joined the Andalucía Golf Challenge 2020 Destino República Dominicana Ocean’s 4 Bahía Príncipe, a circuit of open amateur championships which this year celebrates its tenth edition and which, with these two new additions, is played on eighteen excellent courses, among which are some of the best in Spain. This circuit, organized by the Andalucía Golf magazine, has as a prize for its grand finale five nine-day trips to the Dominican Republic including flights, transfers, five-star all-inclusive hotel and golf at three of the best courses in the Caribbean: Ocean’s 4, Teeth of The Dog and Punta Espada.
Apart from the prizes of each tournament (premium branded clothing from the store Fairway+Blue in Puerto Banús, wines D.O. Somontano, sports equipment from Holiday Golf, etc.), the first three classified in each category plus the scratch winner of each tournament get a place to play the grand final of the Circuit (Atalaya Old, November 21) and thus opt for one of the five nine-day trips to the Dominican Republic.
The Santa Clara Golf Granada tournament will be played on October 10, and the Chaparral tournament will be played on October 31.

SANTA CLARA GOLF GRANADA
Located ten minutes from the historic center of Granada and less than thirty minutes from the Costa Tropical and the Sierra Nevada ski resort, is this beautiful 18-hole course. The course, of 6,598 meters, is characterized by its wide greens and with a lot of movement, as well as by the diversity of obstacles in the layout that offer a great diversity of shots. The golf course, inaugurated in 2006, was built respecting the natural environment of native fauna and vegetation, creating a fantastic meeting point for golf enthusiasts. The club has a golf academy and a six-hole pitch & putt course. The majestic clubhouse of Santa Clara Golf Granada, with a complete spa (indoor heated pool, jacuzzi, Turkish bath, sauna) and a restaurant with a splendid terrace on the 18th green that offers stunning views of the Sierra Nevada.

CHAPARRAL
Located in a privileged area of the Costa del Sol, in the municipality of Mijas, this course stands out for its views of the Mediterranean as well as for its abundant and varied vegetation. With 18 holes and par 72, it was built with the idea of taking advantage of the undulations of the terrain and the abundant pine forests that dominate the area. With its six par 3, six par 4 and six par 5 holes, the course offers endless possibilities for both the experienced player and the beginner. It has a magnificent clubhouse, a lighted driving range and a golf academy. This course, designed by Pepe Gancedo, was reopened for play in 2006 after having been closed for several years.

DOMINICAN REPUBLIC DESTINATION OCEAN’S 4 BAHÍA PRÍNCIPE
The top three in each category plus the scratch winner qualify for the Grand Final, where five one-week all-inclusive trips to the Playa Nueva Romana resort of Bahía Príncipe in the Dominican Republic with golf at Ocean’s 4, Punta Espada and Teeth of The Dog will be decided. The top two finishers in each category and the scratch winner of the Grand Final will travel to the Dominican Republic.
