Donald Trump takes on Tiger and Nicklaus in Florida

While Ricky Fowler, in the United States, and Dustin Johnson, in Saudi Arabia, were on track for victories on the American and European circuits respectively, another focus of media attention related to golf was at Trump National Golf in Jupiter, Florida, and had as protagonists three extraordinary figures, in the literal meaning of the term, that is, out of the ordinary. There to play a match were the two golfers with the most majors to their credit, Jack Nicklaus, with 18, and Tiger Woods, with 14, and the peculiar president of the United States, Donal Trump, a seasoned golfer. The trio was joined by one of Nicklaus’ sons, Steve.
It so happens that Tiger and Jack had not played together for almost twenty years.
The Trump club where the meeting took place is very close to Nicklaus’ The Bear’s Club, so close that both private clubs share the same access road. It is because of this proximity that it comes as no surprise to see the legendary golfer share a round of golf with the President of the United States.
Woods is a resident of Jupiter, a small city of 55,000 inhabitants in Palm Beach County, and has already played with Trump on previous occasions.
The U.S. president posted photos and videos of the encounter on Twitter, although he did not reveal the outcome of the match.
