

According to the survey, 41 percent of the courses surveyed reported that international visitors spend 18 percent more on average per person in the club store and on food and beverage than domestic players. Golfers arriving from other countries played 9.8 percent of the total rounds at the U.S. courses surveyed.
The average green fee price for the two hundred courses that have so far responded to the IAGTO survey stands at $86.40.
One of the things that has caused surprise to IAGTO officials, as stated by its head, Peter Walton, is that only 2 percent of the participating courses have accurate data on the number of national and international golfers playing at their facilities.
What most agree on is that the number of visitors to North American camps grew in 2015 and there are good prospects for the current year in the same aspect.
