The Andalusian Pitch & Putt Circuit 2013 has returned to competition after the summer break with the dispute of its sixth round at the Seville course of La Cartuja Public School. More than fifty players took part in a scenario that last year was the venue for the III Iberian Open of this golf variant.
Precisely in that tournament, Victor Pastor was proclaimed champion, and ten months after that brilliant victory, Andres Pastor has wanted to emulate his son and has achieved first place in the scratch classification.
The day was characterized by the enormous equality between the main favorites for the victory. In fact, Andrés Pastor benefited from the application of the rules to break the triple tie at 53 strokes with José López Moncayo and José Luis López Bautista.
As for the handicap classifications, local players Miguel Peruyera, with 48 net strokes, and David Domínguez, with 50 strokes, were the winners in the first and second categories, respectively.
Once the competition was over, the awards ceremony was held, attended by, among others, Antonio Fuentes, Acting President of the Pitch & Putt Committee of the Royal Andalusian Golf Federation, and Ana García, Secretary of La Cartuja Public School.
