Sherry Golf Jerez hosted on Saturday the third qualifying round of the Senior Circuit of Andalusia 2015, in which 93 players participated and played 18 holes in Stableford handicap mode.
Felicity Jordan (Lauro Golf) was the winner in the ladies’ category, thanks to a total of 38 points, two more than the player from Hato Verde, Mª Concepción Yagüe -who was second with 36 points- and three more than Elena Minguez, from Nuevo Portil, who was third with 35 points.
In the first men’s category, Hern Suk Mun -from the Club de Campo de Córdoba- led the classification with 38 points. Meanwhile, the player from Novo Sancti Petri, Miguel Barca, was in second place with 37, the same result as Manuel Peña (Jerez Club de Golf), who was in third place, according to the handicap difference.
Finally, the winner of the second men’s category, with 39 points, was José Antonio Martínez, from Corta Atalaya. After him, second place went to Antonio Romero -from Islantilla Golf- who, with 38 points, was two points ahead of Germán Martínez (Hato Verde), who finished third.
The awards ceremony was attended by Humberto Ybarra, Provincial Delegate of the Royal Andalusian Golf Federation in Cadiz; Francisco Cervilla, President of the Seniors Committee of the Royal Andalusian Golf Federation and Vocal of Foreigners; Lynn Fisher, member of the Seniors Committee of the Royal Andalusian Golf Federation; and Emilio Lustau, Managing Director of Sherry Golf.
The next Senior Circuit event will be held in La Garza (Jaén) on April 18.
