Fourth Andalusian triumph in the Interautonomy Pitch & Putt Championship

The Andalusian team has won its fourth victory in eight editions of the Spanish Interautonomy Pitch & Putt Championship at home, at the Escuela de La Cartuja course (Seville). And this time it has achieved it with a large dose of emotion to resolve a nice duel with the Asturian team.

The tournament, which has had the participation of 16 teams representing as many Territorial Federations, lived a second day of heart attack in which Andalusia, with a third accumulated card of 103 strokes, overcame the disadvantage that accumulated with respect to Asturias and beat the Principality of Asturias by one stroke. 306 strokes to 307. The third place went to the Cantabrian team, with a total of 311 strokes.

Concluded the first day, Asturias led the test with Luis José Neira at the head. He accumulated 96 strokes and stored two strokes ahead of the Canary Islands and three over the Basque Country, while with 100 strokes tied in the classification Aragon, Cantabria, Madrid, La Rioja and Andalusia.

Since the foundation of this attractive tournament by the Pitch & Putt Committee of the RFEG, in 2007, only Asturias has managed to minimize the Cantabrian and Andalusian protagonism. The Andalusians won the first edition of the championship, and since then the mountain people have won three times (2008, 2009 and 2011). Asturias won in 2010 and Andalusia repeated in 2012 and 2013. Now, Andalusia dominates the tournament’s list of winners.
