As for the competition at Los Ángeles de San Rafael, the day dawned cold but sunny. Located in a unique environment in the foothills of the Sierra de Guadarrama, this course directed by Eduardo Tapia presents a technical design by Sterling & Marco that is undergoing some reforms to make it more friendly, with fewer difficulties for the game. A curiosity of this layout is that, in order to cross the Moros River, which divides the course practically in two, it has the longest private bridge in Europe. The great attraction of the tournament was that the golf day continued with a splendid meal at the clubhouse with farm beans and suckling pig, two dishes that the renowned Segovian chef Lali prepared with mastery and delighted all participants. There were many who repeated the judiones.
A team from Teledeporte, of Televisión Española, traveled to the course to make a program about the XI Circuito Andalucía Golf Challenge ‘Destino PGA Riviera Maya Bahía Príncipe’, the tournament and the gastronomy of Los Ángeles de San Rafael.
