A significantly higher turnover than in the previous year, a significant increase in the number of clubs using the online green fee booking platform and a direct benefit in their income statement is the summary of the activity of the golf courses that have used Golfspain’s technology (www.golfspain.com) during the first half of the year.
Specifically, Spanish golf clubs that have implemented Golfspain’s management technology have invoiced more than €8 million during the first six months of 2018 for the online green fee booking chapter alone, which is 45% more than in the same period of the previous year.
Contributing to this data is the fact that the number of online courses registered in the Golfspain database now stands at 163, 27% more than in June 2017.
Special mention for the two new courses that have recently joined the management through Golfspain, Añoreta and Bellavista, located in the provinces of Malaga and Huelva, respectively, which benefit, like the rest of the clubs adhered to the system, of a double income channel in the chapter of green fee reservations online.
On the one hand, the one incorporated by all clubs in their own websites, which allows users to make green fee reservations from any device and at any time of the day in a simple and completely secure way.
In addition, Golfspain provides clubs with another source of income -which has represented almost 900,000 euros in the first half of the year- thanks to the online green fee multi-course booking tool, which allows golfers to make successive reservations, on different courses and days, in a single operation, issues also highly valued by users.
