Johnson buys house with island for five million dollars

It is clear that there are a few golfers who, thanks to their talent with the clubs, earn a lot of money and can afford expensive whims. One of these privileged golfers is Dustin Johnson and one of his latest whims is a mansion of almost five million dollars that he has just bought in Palm Springs, California. That amount is almost what he has earned this season on the PGA Tour: 5.2 million dollars. The house has attracted the attention of the media, among other things because it has its own island, or rather a small islet, which connects, by means of a wooden walkway, his property with a platform that serves as a solarium and pier.

The house, of about 800 square meters on a plot of 9,000 located at the water’s edge, has five bedrooms, six bathrooms and a toilet, three large balconies overlooking the sea and an outdoor pool equipped with a waterfall and grotto.

Johnson has made a good buy considering the house was originally listed for sale in June for $5.9 million, nearly $1 million less than the golfer paid.
