All the hotels are located on the seafront, in one of the most impressive beaches of southern Spain; in an area of the province of Cadiz that is recognized worldwide for its excellent wines, which also has the largest herd of cattle in the country, which is the largest and best tuna fishing area of the Spanish coast; which has one of the best gastronomies of the Atlantic coast (it is fair to remember its cheeses from the payoya goat that have won very important international awards), and is also very close to the Alcornocales National Park, the white villages of Cadiz, and places full of charm and history as Medina Sidonia, Tartifa, Zahara de los Atunes, Conil, El Puerto de Santa Maria, Sanlucar de Barrameda, and a host of other attractions that give this area a very special charm.

THE BIG CHANGE
Faced with the blindness of the official bodies, it is the businessmen and professionals of the sector who do not give up and day by day maintain and improve a unique area in Europe.
La Estancia Golf Club, for example, has undergone a radical transformation in the last two years. It has gone from being a course with a magnificent design but with some deficiencies to being one of the references in the area after having made the improvements it needed. It has taken a 180-degree turn with the change of the entire vegetation layer of the course, with the adaptation of the irrigation system, with the touch-ups and improvements that have been made in the design, without modifying it substantially. Two new lakes have been added and the total distance has been increased to 6,390 m. from white.
“Right now,” says course director Carlos de Avilés, “we have a course with optimal playing conditions, which has become a very competitive product, with an exceptional quality/price ratio.”
This course is purely commercial, pay and play, with a few subscribers, and the vast majority of those who play it for the first time are surprised by the quality of this course, which remains one of those unknown gems that occasionally surprise us when we discover them.
