The fantastic Links Course of La Hacienda Links Golf Resort, as expected, dazzled the participants in the antepenultimate event of the SAN MIGUEL ANDALUCÍA GOLF CHALLENGE ‘Destination Dominican Republic by Globalia’.

Not surprisingly, the only links course on the Costa del Sol, brilliantly redesigned by the famous American designer Kurtis Bowman, combines an impressive setting by the sea and spectacular views of the Rock of Gibraltar with an unbeatable presentation and maintenance of the course.
As in the vast majority of the tournaments of the Circuit, which this year celebrates its fourteenth edition, La Hacienda Links was fully booked and sold out in advance.
All the players were impressed by the conditions of the course, which was praised by the majority, qualifying it as one of the best courses in Spain.
The Links is a challenging course, with unique views and a course quality on a par with the best courses in Europe. It is formed by wide fairways, fast and perfect greens, strategically placed bunkers and gentle slopes that descend towards the sea, ending in a beautiful beach and creating a front of almost two kilometers. Most of its holes border the beach. The new course is even more open to the sea and offers one of the best views of the entire Costa del Sol over the Mediterranean, Gibraltar and Africa, which can be appreciated from all its greens.
In addition to the spectacular course, Sal Verde ‘s superb catering also contributed to the great success of the tournament. Sal Verde is in charge of the clubhouse restaurant as well as Calma Bar, between holes 9 and 10, and Arena Bar, on the beach adjacent to the resort. Sal Verde offered the tournament participants a magnificent hole pass at Calma Bar, which delighted the players, and a splendid cocktail in the clubhouse.

The XIV SAN MIGUEL ANDALUCÍA ANDALUCÍA GOLF CHALLENGE ‘Destino República Dominicana by Globalia’ is an open amateur circuit organized by the magazine Andalucía Golf / España Golf. The circuit runs through all the Andalusian provinces, as well as Madrid and Mallorca, with most of the rounds being played on the Costa del Sol, on top level courses.
The grand final of the Circuit, from which the five winners of the trips to the Dominican Caribbean will be chosen, will be played on September 28 at Los Arqueros and will be followed by a gala dinner in Marbella.
Access to the final will be direct for the winner of each category and the scratch winner of each tournament, while the remaining places in the final will be awarded based on theBenahavís Ranking based on the points obtained in each event.
The next appointments of the Circuit, the last before the grand finale, will be on August 31 in Chaparral (sold out) and on September 7 in Mairois, Mallorca.

TRIP TO DOMINICAN REPUBLIC
The Grand Final of the Circuit will decide the winners of the 5 one-week trips with flights, all-inclusive accommodations at the 5-star hotel Sunscape Dominicus La Romana and golf at the spectacular Teeth of the Dog, Punta Espada, DyeFore y PGA Ocean’s 4. The Grand Final will be held on September 28th and will be followed by a Gala Dinner in Marbella. .
All Circuit players will be able to participate in the draw for 2 extra places to accompany the 5 winners of the trips to the Dominican Republic.
