
The spectacular course of La Herrería, framed in a lush wooded nature enhanced even more by the imposing silhouette of the practically annexed Monastery of El Escorial, a World Heritage Site, has been the setting for one of the tests of the XI Andalucía Golf Challenge ‘Destination PGA Riviera Maya Bahía Príncipe’. This magnificent golf course located in the Madrid municipality of San Lorenzo del Escorial delighted the more than 120 players who gathered for a great day of sport, on a splendid and sunny day, ideal for the practice of this sport.
The scratch winner was Fernando del Campo Martínez-Avialwith 39 scratch points. In the first category, Roberto Posada Almendrotem won with 47 points, followed by Manuel Colmenero Estraviz (41), and Ignacio Bernardo de Quirós Loring (41). (39). The competition held in La Herrería was the eighth event of the twenty-five that make up the eleventh edition of this open amateur circuit. organized by the magazine Andalucía Golf / España Golf. The circuit will travel between March and October through the Andalusian provinces of Malaga, Cadiz, Huelva, Almeria, Seville and Granada, as well as Madrid and Segovia, with most of the rounds taking place on the Costa del Sol.
The grand finale of the circuit, from which the five winners of the trips to the Mexican Caribbean will be chosen, will be played at Marbella Club Golf Resort on October 2 and will be followed by a gala dinner at the El Gamonal Restaurant. El Gamonal Restaurant in Marbella.
The access to the final will be direct for the scratch winner and the winners of each category in each tournament, while the remaining places in the final will be awarded based on the ranking prepared from the points obtained in each event, taking into account the six best scores obtained throughout the Circuit (there is no minimum number of events to be played).

PGA RIVIERA MAYA BAHIA PRINCIPE DESTINATION
The Grand Final of the Circuit will determine the five one-week all-inclusive trips to the Bahia Principe resort in Riviera Maya (Luxury Akumal hotel) with golf at PGA Riviera Maya, El Camaleon Mayakoba, and Playa Paraiso. The top two finishers in each category and the scratch winner of the Grand Final, to be played on October 2 at Marbella Club Golf Resort, will travel to the Mexican Caribbean.
