A day later, at Alhaurín Golf, Leonardo Lilja intended to conquer his second consecutive success. However, on this occasion, the scratch winner was Fernando Galiano Muñoz thanks to an excellent card of 49 strokes.
The player from Club de Golf La Cañada repeated his victory at La Siesta and was 3 strokes ahead of Antonio Cruz-Conde Rodríguez-Guerra.
Leonardo Lilja, meanwhile, finished third with a 55-stroke round.
Finally, regarding the handicap results, Pedro Marín Santander won in 1st category and José Joaquín Villazón Aramendi did the same in 2nd category.
Once the event was over and before the distribution of prizes, the Pitch & Putt Committee of the RFGA wanted to thank Alhaurín Golf for its great work as host course of the Interterritorial Pitch & Putt 2012. To this end, Lidia Muñoz, Commercial Director of the Alhaurín course, was presented with a picture of the members of the Andalusian team that was proclaimed champion in this competition.
After the celebration of this double event, the Andalusian Pitch & Putt Circuit passes the baton to the Andalusian Men’s Championship of this variant of golf, which will take place this coming weekend at Greenlife Golf Club.
