
One more year the Andalusian players have shown their enormous potential in the Junior National Points. In this edition, played at the Mar Menor Golf and La Torre courses in Murcia, our promising young players have once again occupied the top positions in most of the rankings.
In the Boys’ Junior category, Juan Manuel Dueñas López was proclaimed winner after finishing with a total of 149 strokes (76+73), one less than Roque Moya Fibla from Valencia, and 2 strokes ahead of Ignacio Puente Rodríguez de Austria from Seville.
The second Andalusian triumph in these scoring events has been achieved by Beltrán Fernández Barbadillo in the Alevín Male category. The talented player of Vista Hermosa Golf Club sealed his first major victory at national level with a comfortable income of 4 strokes over the second classified.
And Ana Peláez Triviño was about to complete a hat-trick for the Andalusian delegation in the Cadet Women’s category. In fact, the great golfer from Malaga concluded the competition tied at 138 strokes with Covadonga Sanjuán Gutiérrez and after consulting the rules of the test, the Asturian took first place having delivered a better second round than the current champion of Spain Pitch & Putt.
In this category, Lucia Jimenez Martin also wanted to leave her mark with a creditable third place, 5 strokes behind the top of the table.
Finally, as for the Cadet Male classification, Antonio José Bejarano Morano shared the runner-up position with three other players, although none of them could face the winner, Klaus Ganter Doblas from Madrid.
