
The magnificent Los Arqueros course in Benahavís, Costa del Sol, has once again been the setting for the Andalucía Golf Challenge Circuit, which this year celebrates its eleventh edition and has five one-week trips to the Riviera Maya in Mexico as its grand finale prize , including flights, transfers, five-star all-inclusive hotel and golf at three of the best courses in the Caribbean: PGA Riviera Maya, El Camaleón Mayacoba and Playa Paraíso.
The tournament, sixteenth of the 23 that make up the Tour’s calendar this year, was played on the course designed by Severiano Ballesteros in a great sporting atmosphere.
As in the previous two years, this open amateur circuit will be open to organized by Andalucía Golf/España Golf magazine. has as a final prize five trips to the Caribbean from the hand of the Piñero Group. In addition to the prizes for each tournament (premium branded apparel from the store Fairway+Blue of Puerto Banús, wines from Bodegas Lau D.O. Somontanosports equipment from Holiday Golf, etc.), the first classified in each category plus the scratch winner of each tournament get a direct place to play the grand final of the Circuit at the Marbella Golf Resort on October 2, with the closing dinner of the circuit at the restaurant El Gamonal in Marbella and thus opt for one of the five trips to Riviera Maya for a week. The remaining places for the final game are obtained based on a ranking based on the points obtained in the tournaments played.
In terms of sporting results, in the first category the first three classified were Pedro López de Alda González (38 points), Manuel Dúctor Jiménez (36) and Thomas Doyle (35).
The top three in the second category were, all with 39 points, Jose Felix Garcia España, Jose Rodriguez Roldan and Oliver Hubner.
The scratch winner at Chaparral was Francis Whelan, with 32 scratch points.

PGA RIVIERA MAYA BAHIA PRINCIPE DESTINATION
The Grand Final of the Circuit will determine the five one-week all-inclusive trips to the Bahia Principe resort in Riviera Maya (Luxury Akumal hotel) with golf at PGA Riviera Maya, El Camaleon Mayakoba, and Playa Paraiso. The top two finishers in each category and the scratch winner of the Grand Final, to be played on October 2 at Marbella Club Golf Resort, will travel to the Mexican Caribbean.
