
La Cañada Golf Club has hosted for three days the celebration of the U-25 Andalusian Championships, which ended today with the victory of Lukas Pany and Valentina Albertazzi.
The new U-25 Andalusian Champions have shown their excellent level of play in a golf course that has been presented in excellent conditions and have accumulated the triumphs, not only in the overall standings, but also in categories U-18 and U-16. Both Lukas and Valentina, both cadets, were the best among the 120 players who participated in the competition.
With 213 strokes (par), the player of Real Club de Golf Guadalmina, Lukas Pany, has had only one of advantage over the also federated by Guadalmina, Ignacio Gómez, and Pablo Alonso, of Real Club de Golf Guadalhorce, who have collected the prizes to the second and third place, respectively.
As for the women’s classification, Valentina Albertazzi (Villa Padierna Golf) has delivered today 72 strokes (+1), to finish with a total of 216 and a wide advantage over Marta Lopez (Playa Serena) and Marina Escobar (Almerimar), second and third classified, respectively, with 223 strokes each.
After the competition, the awards ceremony was presided over by Pablo Mansilla, President of the Royal Andalusian Golf Federation; Belén Jiménez, Councillor for Education of the City of San Roque; José Chapaza, President of La Cañada Golf Club; Margarita Fernández, President of the Women’s Committee of the Royal Andalusian Golf Federation; Fernando Pacheco, President of the Children’s and Youth Committee of the Royal Andalusian Golf Federation; and Francisco Contreras, Chief Referee of the event.
