On August 17, the third of the summer tournaments of the Andalucía Golf Challenge 2013 circuit, a tour that is played on the best courses of the Costa del Sol, was held at Marbella Club Golf Resort.
The course designed by former Ryder Cup player Dave Thomas, creator of prestigious golf courses around the world, surprised very positively to those who did not know it and again made those who had already played it enjoy it.
This is a very exclusive golf course, although it admits visitors in addition to the clients of the Marbella Club and Puente Romano hotels. The tournament, on a sunny and hot day, was a success both in terms of attendance and in the sporting and organizational aspects.
As always, the players appreciated the high quality and quantity of prizes and gifts that were given away:
for two people to Turkey for the first and second category winners (offered by Turkish Airlines), thousands of euros in golf equipment from Holiday Golf, bottles of wine from the Somontano appellation of origin for all players, vouchers for the Marbella Casino, also for everyone, and Nikki Beach for the top ten in each category, etc. etc…..

The winners of the competition were José María Cano in first category, with 39 points, and Mark Bystriansky in second category, with 40 points. The longest drive was hit by José Sánchez, and the ball closest to the flag by Wim Schreuder.
