Members had their big day at the III Lauro Masters

The good weather and the festive atmosphere came to Lauro golf last Saturday July 16th with the celebration of the “III Lauro Masters Tournament”, a very popular competition in this course of Alhaurin de la Torre that is celebrated in honor of its members. The idea of this competition came from the founder of Lauro Golf Don Vicente Pitarch, who wanted to organize a fun and different competition for both Lauro Golf members and visitors. At the same time the club has the opportunity to thank its members for their loyalty by inviting them to the green fee and paying only 10€ for a buffet lunch. As a peculiarity in the day, and in order to offer a greater challenge in the game, this time the gentlemen played from white and the ladies from the blue bars, which was very well received by the participants who said they enjoyed this change. The modality was individual Stableford, with 3 first prizes; besides, there was a great raffle from which nobody left without a gift.

At the end of the competition, the players enjoyed a wonderful buffet provided by the management of the Mama Luchía Golf clubhouse restaurant. In charge of presenting the prizes was the Caddy Master of Lauro Golf Sani Alba, who awarded the prize to the following winners, as well as the lucky ones in the draw.
