The Iberostar Real Club de Golf Novo Sancti Petri, the magnificent course located by the sea in the town of Chiclana, Cádiz, made its debut in the Circuito Andalucía Golf Challenge Destino República Dominicana Ocean’s 4 Bahía Príncipe . It was the first time that this club was part of the amateur circuit organized by the magazine Andalucía Golf/España Golf and the expectations generated resulted in an absolute success of participation. The day was magnificent, without the excessive heat that the area had registered in previous days.
The splendid course designed by the incomparable Severiano Ballesteros presented a magnificent appearance and maintenance. Between holes 9 and 10, next to the clubhouse, there was a well-stocked refreshment stand with all kinds of sandwiches, canapés and drinks.
The director of the Iberostar Real Novo Sancti Petri Rafael Hernández Alcalá, was the perfect host of the tournament, which took place in a perfect sporting atmosphere.
This open amateur circuit organized by the magazine Andalucía Golf/España Golf celebrates its tenth edition this year, and again, as in the previous two editions, with a grand final prize of five trips to the Caribbean by Grupo Piñero. Apart from the prizes of each tournament (premium branded clothing from the fairway+blue store in Puerto Banús, D.O. In the first category, the first three classified, who obtained a place in the grand final of the Circuit, were Daniel Feliú Vera (38 points), Ernesto Ramos Galvin (38) and Jorge González Barba (37).
The first three classified for the grand final in second category were, in this order, the following: Juan Manuel Morales Alonso (39 points), Juan Francisco Laconti Holgado (39) and Álvaro Bort Tevar (38).
The scratch winner was Gonzalo Lilly Martínez, with 36 points.
As for special prizes, the closest ball to the flag went to José Manuel Peralta and the longest drive to José Manuel Peralta and the longest drive went to Carmen Mendara and Carmen Mendara and Íñigo Francia.

The top three in each category plus the scratch winner qualify for the Grand Final, where five one-week all-inclusive trips to the Playa Nueva Romana resort of Bahía Príncipe in the Dominican Republic with golf at Ocean’s 4, Punta Espada and Teeth of The Dog will be decided. The top two finishers in each category and the scratch winner of the Grand Final will travel to the Dominican Republic.
