Spain’s Azahara Muñoz has continued her phenomenal form in Taiwan, where the Sunrise LPGA Taiwan Championship, part of the American Women’s Tour, has been played. Her second position was the best Spanish news of the week after Sergio Garcia’s victory and Gonzalo Fernandez-Castaño’s second place in Castellon.
Azahara Muñoz was leading at the end of the second round, but the best golfer in the world at the moment, Yani Tseng, reacted to look for a victory at home. With 67 strokes in her third round, she took the lead with an advantage of two strokes over Sweden’s Anna Nordqvist and three over the Spaniard.
Yani Tseng culminated her victory with 66 strokes on the final day. The second position went to Azahara Muñoz and South Korea’s Amy Yang, who invested in the 72 holes five more strokes than the unbeatable Yani Tseng.
