Adventurous” golfer Michael Goldstein completed his mission to play all ten courses at Mission Hills Hainan in a single day. Starting at 6 a.m., Goldstein played 10 rounds of 18 holes in 12 hours and 44 minutes. With a frenetic pace that forced him to run between shots, he recorded a total of 810 strokes, for a respectable average of 13.3 over par per round.
Goldstein began at first light on the Double Pin Course and continued on to The Preserve, Shadow Dunes, Stone Quarry, Meadow Links, Lava Fields, The Vintage, Sandbelt Trails and Stepping Stone, ending his marathon day of golf on the Blackstone Course, the next venue for the Omega Mission Hills World Cup in November.
“Having ten courses of such high quality in one place makes Mission Hills Hainan a unique golf experience. The golf courses, facilities and hospitality are superb, and despite being so tired it has been an unforgettable experience. “
