Jon Rahm and Seve Ballesteros’ children, Javier, Miguel and Carmen, have joined forces to promote golf and its values among children. With this objective, they have launched the “Seve & Jon golf for kids” circuit for U-16 boys and girls, which will be played under the modalities of Distance, Short Game and Putt, and will consist of five rounds and a final to be played in Cantabria, Navarra and the Basque Country.
A maximum of 120 players will take part in each event, determined by order of registration, and each player may participate in only one qualifying tournament. They will compete divided by categories:
- Benjamín (male and female) 25 players
- Alevín (male and female) 25 players
- Boys 20 players
- Girls 20 players
- Male cadet 15 players
- Female Cadet 15 players
Seve & Jon golf for kids calendar:
- August 23 Real Golf de Pedreña (Cantabria)
- August 28 Real Nuevo Club de Golf Basozábal (San Sebastián, Guipúzcoa)
- August 29 Larrabea Golf Club (Legutio, Álava)
- September 4 Ulzama Golf Club (Navarra)
- September 5th Real Sociedad de Golf de Neguri (Getxo, Vizcaya)
- Final in December chaired by Jon Rahm, Meaztegi Golf (Ortuella, Vizcaya).
Registrations must be made through the corresponding Autonomous Golf Federation. The registration fees, amounting to 15 euros, will be entirely donated to the Aladina Foundation, whose objective is to provide comprehensive support to children and adolescents suffering from cancer, as well as their families.
Each participant must compete in three modalities: Distance (or Drive), Short Game (or Chip) and Putt with which it is intended to attract the youngest, to have fun and enjoy playing golf, an essential sport modality in education for the values it entails. A total classification will be established by adding the points obtained in each modality.
The first three classified in each category will receive a trophy and will have the right to participate in the Final, which will be held in Meaztegi Golf (Ortuella, Vizcaya) in December with the presence of Jon Rahm and the children of Seve Ballesteros. All participants will receive a gift.
In addition to the total involvement of its protagonists, Jon Rahm, Javier, Miguel and Carmen Ballesteros, and the support of the company Tamoin, the “Seve & Jon golf for kids” circuit for boys and girls U-16 has the collaboration of Subaru, TaylorMade, the Royal Spanish Golf Federation and the Autonomous Federations of Cantabria, Navarra and the Basque Country.

As I have said many times, Seve means everything to me, he was always my idol and a reference for Spanish golf. I am where I am and I started playing thanks to Seve, so in his honor and in honor of Spanish golf, I am very excited to share this circuit that bears his name. We have chosen three very entertaining modalities so that the children have fun playing and get hooked on golf.
