Rahm closes the season with an impressive win at Tiger’s tournament

Jon Rahm closes the 2018 season with a prestigious victory at the Hero World Challenge, an invitational tournament organized by Tiger Woods held in Nassau, Bahamas.

The 24-year-old Basque player finished Sunday’s round with a brilliant 65 for a total of 268, four ahead of American Tony Finau (272) and five ahead of Englishman Justin Rose (273).

This was the Spaniard’s sixth win in his two seasons as a professional, with three per year (Torrey Pines, Ireland, Dubai, CareerBuilder, Open de España and Hero).

Woods finished in the penultimate position by finishing seventeenth, 19 strokes behind the leader (287).

The former world number one never felt comfortable in his championship and on Sunday signed one stroke over par (73).
