The Final of the Women’s Golf Tour held at the Río Real Golf Club has given the victory after its second and final day to the team formed by Cristina and Laura Cologan, Josefina Pacheco and Concepción Fernández de Córdoba.
A total of 452 Scratch strokes placed them ahead of Blanca Hermana, María Pilar Van Dulken, Teresa Torrejón and Jun Mori, who finished in second place with one more stroke. With the same number of strokes (453), the third place in the standings went to the team composed of Joyce Heyster, Aurora and María José Hidalgo and Macarena Benítez.
In the Final of the Individual Parallel Tournament, which was played in Río Real during the same dates under the Stableford handicap modality, Enriqueta Ruiz’s total score of 69 points earned her the victory with two points ahead of Asunción Moreno, with a score of 67.
The presentation of trophies was attended by the president of the Royal Andalusian Golf Federation, Ángel de La Riva, as well as the president of the Women’s Committee, Candelaria Flores, Luis Navarro, director of Río Real and Rafael Toval, as chief referee of the competition.
