El Rompido Golf Club has been the venue for the Huelva Provincial Senior Tournament. The test, in which 62 players participated over 18 holes Stableford (Game by points), has concluded, in the women’s table, with María Concepción Yagüe at the top of the standings, with 38 points (-2). In second place was Amelia Alonso, with 36 points, in a triple tie with Rocío Hernández and Remedios Muñoz.
In the men’s category, the first handicap category (up to 16.4) ended with Javier Alonso in first place with one under par (37 points). Manuel Ramón Pérez and Nicolas Galceran followed with 35 points.
In the second men’s handicap category, Alfonso Grande de Lanuza delivered the best result, with 44 points (-8). Next were John Robilliard and Zsolt Stanik, both with 37.
The Scratch awards went to Felicity Jordan in the ladies’ category and Javier Alonso in the men’s category.
The trophy ceremony was attended by Francisco Cervilla, president of the Senior Committee of the Royal Andalusian Golf Federation and Mar Timoner, representing the El Rompido Golf Club.
