SAN ROQUE CLUB OLD COURSE
Designed by former Ryder Cup player Dave Thomas, the Old Course at San Roque Club is considered one of the best in Europe. In 2005 it was the venue for the Spanish Open Golf Championship (the New Course hosted the tournament in 2006) and has hosted the final phase of the European Tour Qualifying School for several years. In its first half, the course runs through a large grove of cork oaks. The second half of the course has much more water.

THE SOTOGRANDE RESERVE
Opened in 2003, this course is located in a beautiful spot in the upper area of the Sotogrande macro-urbanization, with native vegetation of Mediterranean pines, wild olive trees and cork oaks. Designed by Cabell B. Robinson, a disciple of Robert Trent Jones for 20 years, La Reserva de Sotogrande is nestled between two valleys. There are four lakes and water on six holes, although only on one hole does its frontal presence oblige the player to negotiate this obstacle.
