
Solomon Toner won yesterday the Men’s and Women’s Andalusian Scoreboard held at the Real Club de Campo de Córdoba, after dominating the classification since the first day of competition.
The Tamisuel Golf Club member added 75 strokes during the second round to the 71 he shot on the first day, for a total of 146 (+2), four ahead of the local player, Alejandro Vaughan, who was in second place.
As for the Mid Amateur classification, Luis Valdelomar, also from Cordoba, was proclaimed champion thanks to a total of 154 strokes (+19). The player of the Real Clubd e Campo de Córdoba has also been the first classified handicap with 142 net strokes.
The competition was played in a single male and female category. However, it should also be noted the great role of Carmen Belmonte, also from Cordoba, who, with a total of 152 strokes, was in fourth position, being the best classified female participant.
After the sports day, the awards ceremony was attended by Fernando Pacheco, member of the Board of Directors of the Royal Andalusian Golf Federation; Manuel Villagrán, Director of the Real Club de Campo de Córdoba; and Diego Molina, chief referee of the event.
