In its eagerness to broaden horizons and design new experiences for the dissemination of values, the Foundation ‘Lo Que de Verdad Importa’ (LQDVI) organizes the charity golf circuit ‘Lo Que de Verdad Importa’ in collaboration with Bacar3s, which between May and September 2024 will visit the cities of Seville, Madrid, Comillas and Marbella.
The different tournaments have been conceived as an opportunity to contribute to generate a positive impact on society through sport. Specifically, the only one capable of bringing together everything necessary for participants to enjoy a “premium” experience specially designed for the best courses in Spain, with the unique and original seal of the LQDVI Foundation, through conferences, special ambassadors who will be the image of the tournaments and will be present on the day they are held, auctions and raffles with exclusive prizes or a cocktail party for players and guests: golf.
The circuit counts as ambassadors with well-known faces golf fans with exciting life stories that often participate in other projects of the LQDVI Foundation, such as Fernando Vega de Seoane, a businessman to whom a skiing accident forced him to see life from a perspective where optimism and energy were fundamental when adapting to his new reality in a wheelchair, or Juan Postigo, considered one of the best players in the world of adapted golf and European champion in 2018, 2019 and 2021.
Seville will be the starting point of the charity golf circuit ‘What really matters’, which will start on Saturday, June 1 with the tournament to be held at the Real Club Sevilla Golf, followed by the Madrid tournament on Sunday, June 16 at Golf Santander, the Comillas tournament on Wednesday, August 7 at Golf Santa Marina and the Marbella tournament on Saturday, August 24 at La Zagaleta.
In addition, the circuit will count with the participation as players of personalities who will act as sponsors of the different tournaments, such as the chef with two Michelin stars Dani García, who will be present in Marbella. The LQDVI Foundation has designed for each occasion a program of activities that includes a cocktail party for players and guests, raffles of exclusive gifts and charity auctions through which to raise funds to continue carrying out projects to disseminate values among young people and contribute to generate a positive impact on today’s society.
María Franco, CEO of the LQDVI Foundation, says: “Few experiences are as moving and inspiring when it comes to transmitting values as sport. And there is none better suited than golf to generate the atmosphere of healthy competition, community and personal growth that everyone who participates in this charity circuit ‘What really matters’ will enjoy. We’re going to have a lot of fun.
