The Felipe Perez Memorial Pro-Am at Mijas Golf gathered 400 participants.

The classic Pro-Am Memorial Felipe Pérez has just celebrated for two days at Los Lagos de Mijas Golf course its seventh edition and, like the previous ones, it was a great success. This time it was the tenth anniversary of the death of the former director of that golf club in Costa del Sol, so his daughters (Ana and Marina Pérez Mediavilla), were in charge of delivering the prizes to the winning teams and professionals.

As it was a charity tournament, the important amount of 4,250 euros was raised through registration, which were donated to the Golf Solidarity Association to help children, the elderly and disadvantaged people and those at risk of exclusion.

The participants played in Shot Gun format and in the Pro-Am modality two best medal play balls, with two tee times each day at 9:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., both on Friday and Saturday. The total attendance was 400 players (100 teams). Prizes were awarded to the four best professional results: 3,000, 2,000, 1,000 and 500 euros, respectively.

During the trophy ceremony, which took place on the terrace of the Mijas Golf Restaurant, a very pleasant and lively atmosphere was enjoyed, giving way then to one of the best

raffles so far, with prizes as attractive as an unlimited vip pass for 2020 at Mijas Golf, golf equipment of prestigious brands, tasting dinners, weekends at

wonderful hotels and a large number of green fees to play in some of the most renowned golf courses in the province of Malaga, among many other gifts.

During the speech of gratitude prior to the awards ceremony, the director of Mijas Golf, Lorenzo Perez, took into account both sponsors and collaborators, without whose trust he would not have been able to give the prizes.

The winning team was formed by the professional José Manuel Cadenas Cortés and the amateurs José Francisco Tenor Lucena, Víctor Manuel Gámez Jiménez and Eduardo Moreno García.

In the individual classification of professionals, there was a triple tie for first place, so they shared the three first prizes, totaling 6,000 euros. Manuel Quirós, Ignacio Sánchez-Palencia and Jesús Ramírez tied for first place. It was Quirós who, in order of merit, will see his name inscribed on the tournament trophy.

The winner of the Vip annual pass at Mijas Golf was Salvador Artacho Robles.
