
Chaparral Golf Club has hosted the first virtual interclub tournament in Europe. The event was supported by Top Tracer, a leading company in technological installations on golf courses.
The coastal golf club and the National Golf Center, a leading institution in the promotion and development of golf in Spain, have joined forces to create a pioneering event.
This initiative marked a significant advance in the convergence of technology and sport, and attracted a large audience that included major golf clubs, friends, Mijas Town Hall authorities, sponsors and prominent personalities from the golf industry, as well as specialized media.
The tournament took place at the golf academies of both clubs at the same time. This great partnership was joined by the prestigious TopTracer brand. Thanks to the technology provided by this technological firm, participants were able to experience golf in a high fidelity virtual environment simulating the course at St Andrews, Europe’s most iconic golf course.
Players enjoyed an enjoyable afternoon where the precision and skill of traditional golf was fused with technological innovation. This unique experience allowed golfers to enjoy a day of golf like no other.
The event was attended by golf club friends, who joined together to celebrate the shared vision of advancing the evolution of the sport.
