

This was the third consecutive time that Andalusia and the Basque Country met in the final of this Championship and this was also the third consecutive victory for the Andalusians.
The morning could not have ended better, with a 3-0 result in favor of Andalusia after the foursomes.
Cadiz players Enrique Marín and Calvin Greschner won their match against Carlos Soroa and Telmo Azpiri by 3/2; Leonardo Lilja and Víctor Pastor won 4/3 against Martín Larrea and Íñigo Romero and, finally, Mario Galiano and Pablo Rodríguez-Tabernero won their point on the 16th hole against Xabier Gorospe and Borja Martín.
With this unbeatable score, the individual matches of the afternoon began, in which 2 points were enough for Andalusia to win the title. The first to arrive was the Cordovan Victor Pastor, who finished his match 7/6 against Telmo Azpiri. After him, the Sotogrande player Enrique Marin, got his point on the 14th hole.
Later, Leonardo Axel Lilja (4/3), Mario Galiano (4/3) and Pablo Rodríguez-Tabernero (4/3) scored points. Calvin Greschner gave up 2/1 against Carlos Soroa, leaving the score 8-1 for the Andalusians.
The Basque team finished second with a magnificent performance by its players who, despite the imposing final score, fought for every point and gave a lesson in good play.
It is worth mentioning the great atmosphere that has been experienced in the Championship among players, coaches, captains and public, who have enjoyed the show offered by the participating teams.
Third place went to Catalonia, who beat Madrid 3-2. In fifth place was the Balearic Islands, who beat the Valencian team 4-1. Finally, in seventh place was Asturias, who defeated Galicia 5-4 in an agonizing duel in which it was at stake to avoid relegation for 2015.
This tournament, under its name Interterritorial de España Junior 1st Division, Memorial Santi Ollé, has been historically dominated by the Andalusian Territorial Federation, winner, with this one, of fifteen editions: 1985, 1987, 1988, 1989, 1991, 1992, 1995, 1998, 2000, 2001, 2001, 2003, 2004, 2012, 2013 and 2014.
