Tiger signs multi-million dollar, multi-year contract to play Bridgestone balls

He already hinted at his reappearance a couple of weeks ago at the Hero World Challenge, when he spoke about the ball to the media, and now his official relationship is confirmed. Tiger Woods has signed a multi-year agreement with Bridgestone to use the balls of the well-known brand of the Japanese multinational.

It has not been revealed how long the contract will last or how much it will cost, although it can be assumed that the former world number one will pocket a multimillion-dollar amount for using and promoting the Bridgestone B330-S ball. Not surprisingly, Tiger is the golfer who has earned the most money in the history of the sport, especially in terms of advertising image of major brands.

“Hitting the right ball is extremely important,” said Woods via press release. “It’s a fundamental part of my equipment, and the Bridgestone B330-S is without a doubt the best ball for my game. Tee and trajectory control is critical, and with this ball I feel like I have total control when it comes to hitting it accurately. I’m not just here to play – I’m here to win, and the innovative advances in the Bridgestone B330-S can help me do that.

After his reappearance at the Hero World Challenge in the Bahamas after sixteen months without competing, Tiger has announced that the next tournament he will play will be the Genesis Open in February in Los Angeles.
