Golf in Spain is in luck. Jon Rahm’s triumph on Sunday in Dubai has returned Spanish golf to the top. It is the ninth title for our country with three for Sergio García, another two for Rahm, and the victories of Álvaro Quirós, Rafael Cabrera Bello and Adrián Otaegui. Today, there are three Spanish players among the top 20 in the world: Rahm (4th); García (11th) and Cabrera Bello (20th), surpassed only by the USA and England.
While professionals and golf lovers celebrate this historic position of Spain, UNIGOLF 2018 is warming up to offer all visitors the most complete overview of the industry. A new dates of celebration, from 1 to 3 March, which will make it possible not only to know the latest developments of the brands for next season, but also to plan the destinations for golf at Easter, the bridge of San José and summer.
In this sense, the offer of the more than 120 companies and brands of the golf sector that will participate in the next edition will be joined by a wide range of golf destinations in Spain and Portugal, which are also committed to the Fair as the best scenario to show fans the power of the Iberian Peninsula. In this way, the show will dedicate a specific area to promote the opportunities of our country, which will reinforce Spain’s position as the second world power in Golf Tourism.
The Fair will once again combine the exhibition area with an interesting program of technical seminars and round tables, as well as a wide range of activities, exhibitions, tests and competitions for all audiences and all ages, which will make UNIGOLF an active, participatory and dynamic show, in which all areas of golf will have a place.
The 2nd edition of UNIGOLF will take place in Hall 14 of Feria de Madrid to coincide with the celebration of CINEGÉTICA 2018, Passion for Nature, Hunting and Fishing, thus bringing together all nature, golf, hunting and fishing enthusiasts for three days.
The event, organized by IFEMA and promoted by Madrid Golf, S.L., once again has the support of the Royal Spanish Golf Federation and the Madrid Golf Federation, maintains its mixed character, dedicating its first day exclusively to professionals, and on Friday and Saturday to the general public. In this way, UNIGOLF becomes a unique space where professionals and amateurs will have access to all the products and novelties of the market.
UNIGOLF 2018 will be held from March 1 to 3 in Hall 14 at Feria de Madrid.
