Victoria Martínez Bernal and Aitor Sebastián have won the Puntuable Andaluz Men and Women of Huelva, which has been played in Doñana Golf in two consecutive days of 18 holes per day under Stroke Play modality.
Starting with the men’s classification, the player of Marbella Golf & Country Club, Aitor Sebastián, finished the first round on Saturday with 77 strokes, the same as Juan Agüera, from Isla Canela, and Guillermo Moreno, from La Cala. On Sunday, he retained the first position thanks to a card of 78 strokes, for a total of 155.
With one stroke more (156), he was followed in the classification by Juan Agüera, who was proclaimed Handicap Champion with 144 net strokes, while the Scratch Runner-up was the player from Bellavista, Cristóbal Guerrero who, with an accumulated 157 strokes (79+78), was also the Mid Amateur scratch winner.
On the other hand, the Lauro Golf player, Manuel Migueles, has been the second classified handicap with 152 net goals and José Mª Barrena (Real Club de Golf Guadalmina), the best classified Mid Amateur handicap.
As for the female classification, the player of Vista Hermosa, Victoria Martinez Bernal, has been proclaimed champion after signing today the par of the course, adding 72 strokes to the 79 she delivered yesterday. The Cadiz has been imposed with 11 strokes ahead of the player of the Real Club de Sevilla, Lucila Puente, who led the standings at the end of the first day and today has finished in second place with a cumulative 162.
Finally, the player from Bellavista, Esperanza Serrano, was the handicap champion with 147 net strokes, one more than the player from Novo Sancti Petri, Carmen García.
After the competition, the awards ceremony was attended by Luis Mansilla, President of the Men’s Committee of the Royal Andalusian Golf Federation; Miguel Míguez, representing Doñana Golf; and Jesús Calvo, Chief Referee of the tournament.
