Great debut of the Parador de Málaga Golf in the San Miguel Andalucía Golf Challenge by Globalia

The Parador de Málaga Golf has made its debut with great success in the XIV SAN MIGUEL ANDALUCÍA GOLF CHALLENGE ‘Destination Dominican Republic by Globalia’.

There was a complete success, filling the quota of 120 players and leaving on the waiting list many others who wished to play.

The course was presented in excellent conditions, with perfect greens anda shotgun start at 9:00 a.m. with a splendid day and no wind, which made for very good rounds.

At the end of the tournament, the players enjoyed San Miguel beers and a paella prepared by the Parador to replenish their strength. The awards ceremony was presented by the vice president of the Real Club de Campo de Málaga, José Antonio García López, who was the scratch winner, tied with 35 points with Domingo Gavira Esquivel, who won by having a higher handicap. The organization of the Circuit -Andalucía Golf- thanks the collaboration of both the Parador de Málaga Golf and its director, Juan María Moreno, as well as the Real Club de Campo de Málaga, and especially Victoria, who have shared the tournament with Andalucía Golf and have led to the success of the event.

The XIV SAN MIGUEL ANDALUCÍA ANDALUCÍA GOLF CHALLENGE ‘Destino República Dominicana by Globalia’ is an open amateur circuit organized by the magazine Andalucía Golf / España Golf. The circuit runs through all the Andalusian provinces, as well as Madrid and Mallorca, with most of the rounds being played on the Costa del Sol, on top level courses.

The grand final of the Circuit, from which the five winners of the trips to the Dominican Caribbean will be chosen, will be played on September 28th at Los Arqueros and will be followed by a gala dinner at the Gran Hotel Guadalpín Banús in Marbella.

Access to the final will be direct for the winner of each category and the scratch winner of each tournament, while the remaining places in the final will be awarded based on theBenahavís Ranking based on the points obtained in each event.

The next meeting of the Circuit will be on Sunday, July 21 in La Cañada.

TRIP TO DOMINICAN REPUBLIC
The Grand Final of the Circuit will decide the winners of the 5 one-week trips with flights, all-inclusive accommodations at the 5-star hotel Sunscape Dominicus La Romana and golf at the spectacular Teeth of the Dog, Punta Espada, DyeFore y PGA Ocean’s 4. The Grand Final will be held on September 28th and will be followed by a Gala Dinner at the Gran Hotel Guadalpín Banús*****.

All Circuit players will be able to participate in the draw for 2 extra places to accompany the 5 winners of the trips to the Dominican Republic.
