SAN MIGUEL XV CIRCUITO ANDALUCÍA GOLF CHALLENGE COSTA DEL SOL DESTINO DOMINICAN REPUBLIC BY GLOBALIA, held last
Wednesday, July 16. With a full house and a waiting list, the event once again exceeded all expectations.
Total success in terms of competition and level of competition.
A total of 68 golfers, representing
19 nationalities, gathered at one of the most exclusive courses in Europe. The conditions of the course were unbeatable, thanks to the excellent maintenance work that places La Zagaleta New Course in the elite of the
Costa del Sol. Tatiana Morató, director of the course, deserves a special mention for her impeccable attention to detail and commitment to excellence.

The following players were proclaimed winners and the first in each category qualify directly for the
Circuit Final, which will also be accessed by the best positioned players in the
Costa del Sol Ranking, as well as the alternates for available places:
Scratch Winner
- Cloe Amion Villarino – 39 Scratch Points
A stellar 3 under par performance that left everyone in attendance speechless. Cloe, a member of the University of Miami golf team and former member of the European team that won the Ping Junior Solheim Cup 2023 in La Zagaleta, shined with her own light.
First Category
- Ramón Bestué Salinas – 38 points
- Darrell Tattershall-Waller – 34 points
- Zoltan Santa – 34 points
Second Category
- Per-Arne Andersson – 36 points
- José Manuel Arcos Fernández – 36 points
- José Zuheros Serrano – 36 points
Special awards “Ball closer to flag”.
During the round, prizes were awarded to the players who left the ball closest to the hole at various highlights of the course. The winners were:
- Hole 2 – Roostiq Restaurant Marbella: Yury Tabolich
- Hole 6 – La Fonda Restaurant: Gary Pott
- Hole 10 – Mercatto della Fontanella: Víctor Requena López
- Hole 10 – Ammos Greek Restaurant (Hotel Mett): Blanca Rivollier
Each of them took away exclusive gastronomic experiences, courtesy of some of the Costa del Sol’s favorite restaurants among golfers.
Refreshments and high-level cocktail reception
The organization of the event left no detail to chance. At
hole 2 the players were able to enjoy a
gourmet refreshment and, at the end of the game, the experience continued in the
Club House, where the
Arbonauta Restaurant offered a varied cocktail of the highest quality, in an unbeatable atmosphere.
Prizes, raffles and major brands present
The winners of the tournament received exclusive gifts from the
golf boutique Fairway + Blue, located in Puerto Banús. High-end wines from
La Navarra Group were also given as part of the prizes and the post-tournament raffle.
One of the most special moments was the raffle of an
original painting by the renowned artist Alejandro Hermann, a piece of great value that was highly appreciated among the attendees. In addition,
Hospital Recoletas Salud Marbella offered wines as part of the raffle, reinforcing its presence at the event.
