Andrés and Víctor Pastor, Spanish Pitch and Putt Doubles Champions

The couple formed by Andrés Pastor and Víctor Pastor -father and son players of the Club de Campo de Córdoba- won the title after signing a great comeback and being the only ones able to go under 100 strokes on the second day of competition. The Cordobeses were crowned Spanish Pitch and Putt Doubles Champions for the first time.

They finished the first day with 47 strokes, in 14th position and four strokes behind the also Andalusian Leonardo Lilja and Antonio Pimentel, who were leading the classification after the first day, in search of what would have been their third victory in the competition.

During the last day of competition, Andres and Victor Pastor rebounded with two good rounds to finish the day with 95 strokes and 142 total.

After them, in second place, was the couple formed by Eduardo Martínez and Carlos García.

The third place went to Leonardo Lilja and Antonio Pimentel, who gave up in the second day with an accumulated 102 strokes, for a total of 145 strokes.

As for the other Andalusians in the Championship, special mention should also be made of the couple formed by José López Moncayo (La Cañada) and Pedro Marín (Sotogrande), who finished in fifth place with a cumulative 147 strokes.

Pedro and Pablo Rodríguez from Málaga finished in 16th place with 155 strokes.

This closed a great weekend for the Andalusians in Asturias. To this victory of Andres and Victor Pastor and the third place of Leonardo Lilja and Antonio Pimentel in this Spanish Pitch and Putt Doubles, we must add the victory of the Andalusian U-16 team in the Interautonómico of Spain, which was held in the field of La Llorea, also in Gijón.
