The magnificent and unique course of Chaparral Golf Club, in Mijas Costa, has once again been the main stage of the Andalucía Golf Challenge Circuit, which this year celebrates its eleventh edition and has as its grand final prize five one-week trips to Riviera Maya, in Mexico, including flights, transfers, five-star hotel on an all-inclusive basis and golf at three of the best courses in the Caribbean: PGA Riviera Maya, El Camaleón Mayacoba and Playa Paraíso.
The tournament, twelfth of the twenty that make up the Tour calendar this year, was played on a sunny day with little wind. The course, framed in a beautiful setting, with its fairways and greens flanked by a lush Mediterranean pine forest a short distance from the sea, was in very good condition. After the competition a paella was served on the terrace of the clubhouse.
As in the previous two years, this open amateur circuit will be open to organized by Andalucía Golf/España Golf magazine. has as a final prize five trips to the Caribbean from the hand of the Piñero Group. In addition to the prizes for each tournament (premium branded apparel from the store Fairway+Blue of Puerto Banús, wines from Bodegas Lau D.O. Somontanosports equipment from Holiday Golf, etc.), the first classified in each category plus the scratch winner of each tournament get a direct place to play the grand final of the Circuit at the Marbella Golf Resort on October 2, with the closing dinner of the circuit at the restaurant El Gamonal in Marbella and thus opt for one of the five trips to Riviera Maya for a week. The remaining places for the final game are obtained based on a ranking based on the points obtained in the tournaments played.
In terms of sporting results, in the first category the first three classified were Enrique Escudero Cendra (41 points), Ángel Fernández Molina (40) and Helmut Brune (39).
The top three in the second category were Francisco Otero Teleña (44 points), Maximilian John A. Verswyber (41) and Martin Malone (41).
The scratch winner in Chaparral was Pablo García España, with 37 scratch points.
As for special awards, the closest ball to the flag and the longest drive for ladies went to Svetlana Valentiouna Kripaytite, and the longest drive for men went to Domingo Gavira Esquivel.

The trip to the Riviera Maya is scheduled for November 5-13 of this year. On Saturday 6th the PGA Riviera Maya will be played, on Sunday 7th Mayakoba will be visited to watch the last day of the Mayakoba Golf Classic, a PGA Tour event, on Monday 8th Playa Paraiso will be played, Tuesday 9th will be free, on Wednesday 10th Mayakoba El Camaleón will be played (three days after the PGA Tour professionals have competed), Thursday 11th will be free and on Friday 12th the PGA Riviera Maya will be played and in the evening the flight back to Spain will be taken.

PGA RIVIERA MAYA BAHIA PRINCIPE DESTINATION
The Grand Final of the Circuit will determine the five one-week all-inclusive trips to the Bahia Principe resort in Riviera Maya (Luxury Akumal hotel) with golf at PGA Riviera Maya, El Camaleon Mayakoba, and Playa Paraiso. The top two finishers in each category and the scratch winner of the Grand Final, to be played on October 2 at Marbella Club Golf Resort, will travel to the Mexican Caribbean.
