Grand finale of the Sotogrande Infiniti Circuit in La Reserva

The course of La Reserva de Sotogrande hosted the grand finale of the Sotogrande Infiniti Circuit 2014, which after a spectacular year has toured the best golf courses in Spain to name and crown the winners of a calendar that has become the most complete in our country.

In this last and final installment of the Sotogrande Infiniti 2014, 18 couples participated, who had earned their place in a final to which they arrived after the circuit toured 14 tournaments in the best and most select courses of our golf geography.

Thus, courses such as El Club de Campo Villa de Madrid, El Prat, Real Club de Sevilla, RSHECC, Pineda, El Escorpión, Neguri, RCG de San Sebastián, La Barganiza, Real Club de Golf de La Coruña, El RCG de Pedreña, San Cugat and La Reserva, which in addition to the final hosted a tournament of the regular phase, were the courses chosen to host this great circuit that has reflected the quality and spirit of two great brands, such as Sotogrande and Infiniti.

The final, which was held during the weekend of November 22 and 23, was previously seasoned with a big party at the same club facilities in which participants and guests warmed up the hours leading up to one of the most desired finals of the season.

Organized by CM Golf, guests and participants enjoyed a spectacular day in a course prepared to perfection to welcome the players on an almost spring day in Sotogrande.

After the competition, a great final party -like all those that have taken place throughout the circuit in the various courses visited- and the awards ceremony. The couple formed by Francisco Marín Rodríguez Cano and Jorge Sánchez Soriano won in the handicap category after finishing with a joint card of 44 points, the same as those obtained by Marife Sánchez Ros and Francisco Ballester, who finished second by handicap.

In the scratch category, with a great round of 33 points, three over par, finished José Antonio Torres and Rafael Fiel Da Silva, while second place went to David Baxauli and José María Fuster.

The day closed after the awards ceremony with a spectacular cocktail and the traditional awards ceremony, where participants could also enjoy gifts and surprises from the circuit’s partners such as Seagram’s, Bahlsen and Melon Platinum, which added great value to the circuit.
